A tasty serving of snack foods awaits in the Stosh Brand Premium Leisure Snack brand portfolio
The next fresh release from the Brand Inucbator series: Stosh Brand Premium Leisure Snacks, a developing food concept inspired by the rich culinary heritage of Polish Western New Yorkers. At its heart, the Stosh brand celebrates local, familiar flavors. The iconic Buffalo chicken wing and the humble pierogi, two regional favorites, form the soul of Stosh Brand Premium Leisure Snacks, offering a delicious serving of tasty brands.
Stosh Brand Premium Leisure Buffalo Seasoned Snacks
Buffalo Chicken Wings made their debut in 1964 at the iconic Anchor Bar in Buffalo, New York, and have since become a staple in bars and restaurants across the country. Always deep-fried, unbreaded, and coated in a distinct peppery vinegar-based hot sauce, the definition of an "authentic" Buffalo wing is hotly debated and often misrepresented. Purists insist on Frank’s Original RedHot® as the only base for a proper wing sauce. True Buffalo wings are never baked or made with honey mustard or sweet barbecue sauce. They must be served with bleu cheese dressing and celery. This culinary tradition is captured in every bite of Stosh Brand Premium Leisure Snacks.
Stosh Buffalo Chips, Rub, and Nuts capture the bold flavor of Buffalo chicken wings. Whether on perfectly crisped fresh potato chips or baked into dry roasted peanuts, these premium snacks deliver a satisfying, spicy kick with every bite. And Stosh Brand Buffalo Dry Rub is the perfect seasoning to shake onto chicken, burgers, fries and even Bloody Marys, adding a burst of flavor to any dish.
The Buffalo Chicken Wing and the humble Polish Pierogi are the taste of Premium Leisure.
Stosh Premium Leisure Pierogi Snacks
The pierogi, a beloved traditional Polish dumpling, has been a staple at Polish family tables for generations. Whether fried in butter and onions or simply boiled, pierogi are often filled with cheese, though variations include sauerkraut, mushrooms, or even blueberries. A dollop of sour cream is the perfect finishing touch to this classic dish.
Stosh Brand Premium Leisure Pierogi Chips capture the essence of this tradition by combining the crunch of perfectly fried potato slices with the rich, buttery taste of cheddar cheese and fried onions. These crispy, golden chips deliver a satisfying bite, while the onion-cheddar coating melts into a smooth, creamy finish, offering a savory, slightly salty flavor. The bold, sharp seasoning enhances the natural earthiness of the potatoes, creating a balanced, irresistible snack with a delightful crunch.
Stosh Brand Premium Leisure Pierogi Puffs provide a lighter alternative, offering an airy snack with a satisfying crunch that quickly melts into a soft, fluffy texture. Made from potatoes and generously coated with rich, buttery cheddar cheese and onion seasoning, these puffs deliver the full flavor of a fried pierogi in each bite. Their light puffed structure makes them easy to enjoy, while the cheesy onion coating leaves a lingering, almost addictive taste.
About Stosh
"Stashu" is the Polish equivalent of Stanley, and the shortened “Stosh” (Stan) is a name familiar to anyone with Polish roots. Pronounced like “nosh” or “slosh,” Stosh is a common Polish nickname, regardless of one’s actual name. For instance, even though my name is Gregg, some friends call me Stosh as a nod to my Polish heritage.
Uncle Stosh in the Big Chair, Webster, New York. 1974
Almost everyone of Polish descent has known a "Stosh." My father’s Uncle Stosh worked at the Genesee Brewery and loved nothing more than a cold Genny Cream Ale at the end (and sometimes beginning) of the day. Stosh’s name was never spoken softly—it was always shouted with gusto as he entered the room in his musty old flannel jacket, ready with a spicy retort and a wave to dismiss the greeter. A hardworking man who lived life to the fullest, Uncle Stosh embodied both complexity and simplicity. He worked hard and played harder, a true man of "Premium Leisure." He always had tickets to a game or event, and if he didn't, he seemed to know someone that did. Stosh always knew how to have a good time and make you feel great, whether in a crowd or one-on-one.
He played softball, cards, and bocce (on grass, not the Italian clay courts). Stosh was a beer truck driver, homebrewer, kielbasa maker, amateur chef, and a gritty raconteur. But his real passion was food—growing it, cooking it, eating it, and talking about it. He grew his own potatoes, onions, and horseradish, and even secretly distilled his own vodka in the bathtub of his third-floor apartment.
Stosh loved to entertain, whether for a small group or a large crowd. His home was always filled with guests, noshing with Stosh. The aroma of fried onions, roasting pork, and boiling potatoes—punctuated by the occasional whiff of cigar smoke—filled the air. A plate of sliced bread with soft butter always graced his table, inviting friends to dig in. He’d constantly shout for guests to refill their plate or grab another beer. That was just Uncle Stosh’s way.
And so, with a nod to Uncle Stosh’s spirit of hospitality, Stosh Brand Premium Leisure Snacks is cooking up something special—hopefully coming to a store near you, complete with a pint to tip and a chip to dip.
